I've been looking over my gallery, and there are a great many things that should probably have been placed elsewhere (like scraps, or not online at all). It's works that, although I was excited about the time, have not stood the test of time. To counteract this, I've implemented a sub-gallery of my own, filled with the things that I'm actually proud of and would share with others without much hesitation. I have been reading photography books and have been exposure bracketing sometimes, and all that stuff (please note, not all of my stuff makes it to this gallery), and I was reading about ways to make photographs stand out in one of them. If I remember, I'll figure out which book was the one to recommend it, but what the book said (and this makes perfect sense) is that there are a couple different kinds of animal photographs. There are those which document a situation, and those that go beyond documentary. A lot of my photos have been documentary pictures. So.... y'all probably noticed that I just uploaded another 14 images today since a moderate bit of silence. Yeah... I went out to a park... thought I wouldn't take any pictures.... ended up taking 159... I had lots of fun and these are the best of the best images that I was allowed to take. (I can never take credit for these photos, they're God's blessing, really). I hope y'all like them!
